TWIGGS Gallery is participating for our 15th year in NH Open Doors and has put together a fun tour of places in Boscawen, Webster, and the Concord area. Tour the back roads and meet artists, craftsmen, farmers, and all the products they make.

1. CORNERSTONE DESIGN at Twiggs Gallery

Twiggs Gallery is a unique venture conceived by local Boscawen, NH, artist and calligrapher, Adele Sanborn. The gallery space exhibits local and regional artists on a rotating basis. The store features Duffy’s Attic full of shabby-chic antiques, and shelves filled with fun uniquities. There is a classroom space for classes and workshops, and downstairs is Adele's studio space.

For Saturday, May 6th & Sunday 7th 10-4 there will be 4 visiting artists all demonstrating and showing their art and craft both upstairs and downstairs.

When you arrive, you will find vintage or repurposed items and furniture; as well as, a variety of hand crafted items made by a number of local crafters such as, quilts and knitted accessories. BEV Norton is less known (doesn't regularly advertise) but visitors have exclaimed it as "must-see", a tactile experience, "funky art" usually reserved for the likes of Portsmouth. Showcased beautifully in the NH woods in a Great Room with cathedral ceiling surrounded by 6' window walls, BEV's catchesthelight themes are colorfully displayed: WALL ART, TEXTILE ARTS, PHOTOGRAPHY Prints & Cards, RAKU POTTERY, Beads, JEWELRY, Vintage Items, WEARABLE ART all ONE-OF-A-KIND.

A few of Bev's friends may join her for NH Open Doors this spring to offer even more Paintings & Jewelry to the already Browse-able collection.

This beautiful old farm at the very end of Lovejoy Rd. has been farmed since the time of the Shakers. Now it is a tree farm. Ann Saunderson is an artist who works in oils, with mixed media, does printmaking and also paints with ink on Yupo paper. In addition there will be a jeweler, Elizabeth Moulton who makes free form, intricate pieces that have sold in the MFA shop, and a photographer, Sher Kamman who is a nature photographer who's work deals with the effect of the elements on nature.

Coffin Cellars, LLC is a country winery located in Webster, NH. Peter Austin, along with his two sons, Jamie and Tim, specialize in wines made from fruits and berries, many of which are grown locally or on their own property.

Peter started making wines as a hobby back in the 1970s, inspired by naturalist Euell Gibbons and his books, such as Stalking the Wild Asparagus. As his sons got older, Jamie & Tim joined in their father’s love for creating wine, sharing their product at family gatherings.
